We are looking for an experienced Customer Acquisition Marketing Manager who will lead the North American demand generation strategy for a fast growing Mobile content platform start up that targets content rich website publishers.
As the Customer Acquisition Manager, you will build programs that fuel inbound demand and result in the download of the client's free mobile platform product. As you build your campaigns, fast iteration and data driven analysis will guide you in your strategy. You should be eager to leverage expert skills with lifecycle email marketing, sales automation programs and online advertising to generate qualified traffic for the client's products. The ideal candidate is a balanced creative and analytical thinker who can strive in a fast paced, metrics driven and results focused environment.
This is an ongoing, part time, offsite role (bay area candidates preferred). This is a w-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee.
Responsibilities:
- Manage customer acquisition marketing programs using high-volume, low touch online strategies, including email marketing, social media and other techniques, targeting specific market verticals.
- Develop and manage email acquisition strategies, including triggers, lifecycle programs and nurturing campaigns
- Build online advertising campaigns including SEM, retargeting and social ads that meet CPA goals and produce ROI positive results.
- Partner with the CEO to ensure world-class product marketing positioning, messaging, and value statements
- Obsessively track, measure and report back to the business on key performance indicators, including engagement rates, conversion rates, and cost-per-acquisition.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of customer acquisition, demand generation marketing experience, in start-up environments
- Deep understanding of email marketing techniques, online advertising strategies, and funnel-based acquisition models.
- Experience using CRM, lifecycle marketing and sales automation software including Salesforce, Marketo, Leads360 or similar tools.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about marketing programs that drive big results
- Creative talent that adds compelling value propositions to product positioning and marketing initiatives.
- Outstanding written communication skills; ability to translate complex ideas into simple and intuitive messages
- BA/BS degree required
