| In this position, the individual will direct, lead, and manage the technical activities of new product development for client solid state disk products including system, firmware, electrical/mechanical hardware and design QA. The individual will oversee the management of an international team comprised of in-house design and QA resources as well as outsourced resources and development partners. The individual is responsible for the timely delivery of world-class product technology. This position requires a MSEE and 10 years senior engineering management experience including managing multi-site, multidisciplinary teams. Demonstrated capability to deliver complicated products on time and meeting specifications and cost targets. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous programs. Participate with senior management in making key strategic technology decisions. The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills. Managing multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to coordinate priorities and initiatives. Outstanding management skills, including diplomacy, clear communication style and employee development. High level of skill in developing, mentoring, empowering, managing, and supporting staff. Excellent planning and problem solving skills with the ability to work in a fast paced and limited resource environment. Dynamic, motivated, and results oriented creative thinker.
