Solution Product Manager
The Solution Product Manager supports the development, launch and global growth of solutions being developed throughout the company. The Solution Product Manager is primarily responsible for the successful development and on-going program management of the processes for these solutions and services. These offers are developed and delivered in conjunction with a variety of internal organizations including marketing, development, product business units, sales and services organizations. Profitable and scalable solutions form the basis for defining and delivering the solutions portfolio in core, advanced and emerging technologies. The Solution Product Manager provides critical skills and linkage between the technology, development and delivery practice resource organizations in the creation and management of profitable solutions growth.
Responsibilities
Solution Program Creation
• Responsible for managing the development of new solutions and related offers in support of market adjacency
• Market and solution requirements analysis
• Business case development
• Solution offer/program strategy - including pricing and go-to-market
• Solution offer/program construction
• Coordinating with internal groups (marketing, product business units, etc.) to secure approval and launch of offers/programs
• Content development to support offer/program launch
• Communications planning for offer/program launch and field adoption
Solution Product Management
• On-going management of profitability and growth for offers/programs as coordinated with the solution team and theater organizations
• Sales enablement support - content development, initial training and train the trainer activities, sales and support briefings and other activities in support of Solution offer/program adoption
• Solution offer/program analysis including P&L/financial, adoption, penetration and growth as part of the product process
• Business development support for initial entry or early-market offers/programs - e.g., pricing, pipeline development, pre-sales consultative support to theater teams
• Partner enablement support for initial entry or early-market offers/programs in collaboration with channel and strategic organizations
Requirements
• 10+ years of product management experience
• Combination of network or network-related technical (Field Engineering, Engineering, Technical Support), business development, product management, marketing, sales experience.
• Demonstrated success in leading direct and/or virtual teams to successfully develop and execute product and/or solution programs
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with customers, channel partners and executive management related to business case-based programs
• MBA or equivalent experience considered a plus
