Eccolo Media is a growing marketing communications agency serving some of the most prestigious technology companies across the United States. We have a thriving practice delivering customer reference program support and management to our clients, and we have an immediate need for a senior customer reference star to join our team for a unique opportunity. This is a new position and is full-time working onsite in our San Francisco office.
The Senior Customer References Program Manager will be tasked with developing two important opportunities for Eccolo. The first will be to work hand-in-hand with one of our key clients for the development of their customer reference program in North America. This will include day-to-day management with the client and development of their reference pipeline, including working with internal sales to identify candidates, driving program participation for peer, media, and advocacy references and coordination with various distribution channels, as well as the development of evidentiary materials such as videos, case studies, quotes, and other collateral assets.
The second objective will be to act as Eccolo's lead for the deepening of our customer reference program practice across all our client accounts. This is a "green field" opportunity for the right candidate to become a key contributor to our organization and strategy for growth. You will identify new account opportunities to implement our reference support services and will work with the account team to strategize and sell new business.
This role requires an experienced reference program professional, with following proven experience:
Requirements include:
• 7+ years managing all aspects of a customer reference program, from development of the lead pipeline to managing customer interviews and internal relationships.
• Experience developing all types of customer references, including case studies, videos, peer-to-peer and media references, quotes, customer forums, and customer advisory boards,
• 10 + years in the marketing field, with ever increasing levels of responsibility
• 5+ years in the technology industry
• Must have experience in pipeline development, sourcing reference candidates with internal teams, vetting participants, etc.
• Must be detail oriented, with superb program management and tracking skills, experience with Office products
• Travel to client locations in South Bay 2-3 times a month will be required, some national travel may be required
