Title: Marketing Analyst
Reports to: Advertising Manager
Location: Southborough, MA

Description of Position:
The successful candidate will be highly quantitative, data-driven and well-versed in digital marketing – from paid search advertising to display ads to email marketing. We want someone who has the acumen and drive to take a first-gen ad strategy and grow it in both size and sophistication.

Responsibilities:
•PLAN: Build overarching media plan that meets marketing budget requirements and achieves goals for lead gen quantity and quality, as measured by internal multivariate scoring algorithms. Analyze and interpret marketing data to identify trends, patterns and relationships, and propose to management to optimize programs.
•BUY: Negotiate media buys including pricing, terms and legal requirements. Work with Advertising Manager to implement and test marketing campaigns to optimize programs. Generate traffic and acquire customers across online marketing channel, including SEM, display and social media.
•CREATE: Execute media plans, including writing ad copy, managing development of display ads, bid management strategy and landing page design. Complete additional marketing activities as requested including management of website updates, ongoing maintenance of social media tools – Twitter, Facebook and Blog when requested.
•MEASURE: Track, measure and optimize campaigns within an extreme precision. Build detailed marketing reports and analytical models using Microsoft Excel and Salesforce.com reports that enable you to effectively manage marketing ad spend, return on investment, as well as executive-level communication. Analyze and interpret marketing data to identify trends, patterns and relationships.
•COLLABORATE: Work with marketing and management teams to prioritize and implement advertising plans in support of company goals. Gather data requirement and provide recommendations for improving report views. Processes mapping and documentation of meeting points.

Overall Experience:
• 3-5 years experience in managing & tracking online marketing.
• Hands-on experience building and optimizing complex CPC search campaigns, as well as CPM display ad and email marketing campaigns a major plus.
• Experience managing monthly budgets over $50,000 a plus.
• Confident in their analysis capabilities, marketing, and business understanding.
• Strong knowledge of Excel, AdWords Editor, Google Analytics
• Experience with A/B Testing, Landing Page Optimization, Conversion Rates, and "Quality Score" a must.
• Knowledge of LinkedIn Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Microsoft AdCenter a major plus.
• Familiarity with B2B marketing, Salesforce, software testing, mobile apps, online gaming or SAAS is a plus.
• Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, ability to execute and manage projects.
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in marketing or related field.
