Qualifications:
The Director of Engineering will be an exceptionally talented,
innovative and "hands on" Manager who directs and executes all aspects
of product design, development, and delivery. He/she must be an
established and driven executive who brings credibility to our seasoned
engineering team. The candidate should have strong background in data
architecture, Java, Flex, and Web services. The candidate is most likely
currently leading the engineering efforts of an enterprise software
company or a BI/Analytics division of a larger company. The job is in
our San Francisco office.
Director or Senior Director of Development running a staff of ~15-20
(most are in China).
Must have:
· 10+ years in enterprise software development
· 3+ years in supply chain or pricing optimization
· Experience with Java and analytics (ETL and a reporting
tool)
· Run an offshore QA and light development team
· Hands on style, actively engaged in design and development
Nice to have:
· Experience with Oracle, Informatica and Cognos
· Worked in a SaaS environment
· Strong local network to recruit from (we need to increase
our presence in SF)
