Client is currently seeking 2 solid, committed , Application Developers for a long term contract in Urbandale, IA. This position is with a client that has over 175 years of experience within Agricultural and Construction equipment, and is listed within the top 100 companies of the Fortune 500 rankings for 2011. This client is one of the leaders in their industry and offers great opportunity to work with cutting edge technology.
In this role you will be responsible for:
· Work in a team environment to design and develop object oriented application S/W for use in agricultural vehicle displays.
· Follow company software processes to produce high quality software using the C++ language and the Windows CE operating system.
· Be a member of an agile S/W development team, working closely with other team members to ensure that the software, electronic and mechanical hardware function together to meet or exceed the product specifications.
What we are seeking are individuals with the following skills:
· C++ Development (3-5+ years of experience for Sr. level position)
· developing GUI applications,
· strongly prefer experience with QT
· strongly prefer Agile experience
Experiences that would be a plus includes:
· multithreading programming techniques
· Team player working in an Agile (eXtreme Programming) environment
· Experience with testing frameworks (Googlemock/Googletest/TPTP)
· building a cross compiler tool chain for x32 architecture on x64 architecture
