The Sage Group is looking for a Visual Designer to work for a well-funded, high growth start-up on the Peninsula that is revolutionizing the way small businesses accept credit cards. This person will lead this company´s digital presence to increase brand awareness and drive demand gen in the marketplace.
Responsibilities Include:
- Successfully translate discussions and concepts into appealing web designs and layouts.
- Design visuals for marketing website including: banners, display ads, and landing pages.
- Work closely with the marketing team to create high-impact designs that will significantly improve brand awareness and generate new user growth.
- Mentor junior team members on best practices.
Skills Required:
- 5+ years of experience in visual design
- Prior experience and positive results "owning" a marketing website and its overall look and feel
- Web project management from concept to launch
- An intuitive understanding of the need to balance "perfect design" with throughput
- Previous experience with some front-end coding and HTML, JavaScript, Adobe Creative Suite, and CSS; PHP experience is also preferred
Skills Preferred:
- Prior experience working on design in the SMB market
