Responsibilities:
• Responsible for coordinating staff recruitment process by creating and posting open positions, working with recruiters and keeping applicant flow log
• Scheduling candidate interviews
• Manages on-boarding process by preparing offer letters and maintain-ing, updating, and preparing all new hire materials including: new hire paperwork, orientation materials and benefit enrollment packages
• Maintains human resources records by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, merit increases; tracking va-cation, sick, and personal time.
• Process benefit enrollment, changes and terminations; answer employ-ee questions related to benefit programs and help to resolve any em-ployee claims issue
• Complete data entry of employee information in the HRIS
• Assist with payroll processing
• Special projects that will be assigned as necessary
Requirements:
• 3 to 5 years of administrative support experience in an HR department.
• Experience scheduling interviews and conducting new hire orientations.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize multiple work assignments; function from broad sets of work instructions; ability to analyze data and situations effectively and is detail oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal communications skills, a strong focus on top notch customer service, as well as demonstrates good decision making and judgment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Knowledge of HRIS and payroll software preferred
• High School Diploma and college level courses in Human Resources or Business Administration helpful but not required
• Familiarity with local, state and federal employment laws helpful but not required
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times regarding all employee and personal information
• Reliable and able to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain good working relationships with all employees
