In this position, the individual will serve as a consultant to assigned client groups, ensuring seamless HR support in all functional areas. Deliver HR services and products that are well aligned with business needs and objectives. Coach executives, managers and employees on a wide range of business issues. Provide thorough analysis in support of all recommendations and consulting efforts. Ensure effective partnership with HR specialists to support timely delivery of services and programs. Contribute to the ongoing improvement of overall products and services within the HR organization. Demonstrate a keen awareness of the cost impact of HR actions. Demonstrate ability to utilize standard software applications and prepare professional documents/reports. Meet or exceed mutually defined objectives and established metrics. Support performance management and career development programs. Support and report on staffing activities associated with assigned client groups. Participate as an active team member on departmental projects external to primary client groups. Demonstrate ability to write concisely and make effective presentations. Analyze various data to assess situations and develop specific recommendations. Demonstrate effective approach to conducting investigations pertaining to employee relations and potential legal matters. Maintain well organized, detailed documentation pertaining to all employee relations, legal and government compliance issues. Drive employee communication forums: brown bags, roundtables, newsletters. Assume responsibilities for compliance efforts on various government programs. Support new hire assimilation and exit process. Attain proficiency in use of HRIS and the Learning Management System (LMS).

This position requires a BS/BA degree or equivalent with 7 or more years of related experience. The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. Self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people. A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team. Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
