[KITlist] Solutions Marketing Manager, Microsoft Applications (Anywhere in the U.S., U.S.)

We are looking for a full-time Solutions Marketing Manager, Microsoft Applications for a global High Technology Storage solutions company to be responsible for defining and executing overall strategic vision and marketing strategy for multiple solutions, and initiatives in support of the company´s Global Alliance with Microsoft.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the development and execution of the overall Global Solutions Marketing strategy and plan for key Microsoft applications including Exchange, Sharepoint and SQL based upon input from internal stakeholders and customers, market and competitive analysis.
• Act as the global internal champion and brand and value ambassador, analyzing and reporting on value-chain requirements for Microsoft application solution offerings.
• Internal champion driving value-chain requirements for enterprise platform products. Requirements include customer requirements, services, education, collateral, demos, and case studies.
• Identify and help facilitate opportunities for business and revenue growth through direct, indirect, and partnership channels stemming from market requirements, and lead cross-functional teams to bring these opportunities to market. Drive attainment of annual targets.
• Deliver customer value-driven messaging and positioning at portfolio and product levels, centered around solutions and in alignment with corporate messaging and vision.
• Align efforts with those of competitive market analysts, business development and Alliance/Partner leads, product managers, corporate and online marketing and communications leads, and other cross-functional managers.
• Act as thought leader, delivering fresh, innovative, market- and customer-centric collateral, presentations, multimedia assets, and sales tools.
• Act as an agent of change, augmenting traditional, technical marketing responsibilities with proactively-driven creative, guerilla marketing, and/or social media strategies and tactics.
• Understand and articulate the workflow, key application requirements and business processes customers demand in order to provide best-in-class support for their Microsoft applications.
• Represent company as a spokesperson with analysts, press, online media, and social networks for Microsoft-centric Solutions and key differentiators within this market space.

Candidate Must Have:

• 10+ years of experience, with at least 8 combined marketing, product management and/or solution sales experience with Microsoft directly or a Microsoft partner.
• Exhibit advanced to expert market knowledge specifically with Exchange, Sharepoint and SQL Server applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to be effective in present live or remotely to Sr. Executives and large public and internal audiences.
• Proven ability to manage and work within a cross-functional / matrixed team
• Bachelor's degree required, MBA or advanced degree a plus.

Preferred location is Santa Clara, CA or Waltham, MA, but can be located anywhere, requires up to 20%-30% travel time.
