[JimsJobs] Marketing Communications Manager, New York, New York

Our client has been a leading provider of real-time, integrated portfolio and risk management solutions, serving thousands of users worldwide. The client introduced this solution as an ASP offering and quickly gained a reputation for innovation - the first, and currently still only, company to provide a comprehensive ASP service offering in this area to institutional financial organizations.
Our company clearly differentiates itself in a number of ways. It is a real-time solution serving a market that demands timely information. It is a highly interactive environment--allowing clients to secure information in specific ways that are meaningful to them. It is a cross asset, multi-strategy application that allows an organization with multiple trading strategies to employ a single platform.  Beyond providing the software on-line, its ASP solution includes all of the market data as well as manages all of the daily processing requirements needed for daily operations. These capabilities, among others, provide a true competitive advantage to clients which has allowed the product to gain significant global adoption within the hedge fund, fund-of-funds, pension fund, brokerage firm, bank and asset management community.
The recent credit crisis and other recent developments in the financial markets have made our core value proposition of making real-time, enterprise-class portfolio and risk management capabilities accessible through an ASP delivery channel more relevant and attractive than ever before.

The ideal candidate will be business focused and able to demonstrate strong abilities in areas such as helping develop comprehensive marketing plans, originating and writing strong marketing content and collateral, and providing reporting metrics to show results. The individual must be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced environment that requires resourcefulness, superior people skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task. Experience working in a firm with an international client base is strongly preferred, and occasional travel (no more than a few times a year) may be required.
