The Palo Alto office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, LLP is seeking a professional Human Resource Manager with a minimum of five years' related experience. The position functions in all areas of Human Resources for the office, provides support with employee relations, development, HRIS, FMLA/Benefits administration and recruitment, and is a resource for the management team. Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, be detail oriented with ability to analyze situations independently. The position will require strong knowledge of both Federal and California employment law. The candidate should work well both as a team member and individually. The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively, organize and prioritize work, provide training as needed, and be skilled in handling confidential and sensitive matters in a professional manner. They will also be comfortable with reporting to multiple supervisors. Bachelor's degree is required.
