Software Engineer
Responsible for the analysis, design, programming, debugging and modification of mobile applications for internal and commercial use. Focus will be on mobile applications to incorporate strategic management, financial management and customer management processes. This position will work closely with senior management and infrastructure support teams The successful candidate will be able to write code, complete programming and perform testing and debugging of applications using current programming language and technologies as well as the additional skills outlined below. Communication skills and an eye for detail are essential for consultation with technical writers to complete documentation and procedure for installation and maintenance.
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Strong understanding of object-oriented concepts and patterns
Experience coding iOS apps for iPad and iPhone
Be proficient in Objective C, Java, XML, JDBC, SQL
Experience in coding location based apps using GPS
Participate in software design (architecture)
Participate in database design
Possess excellent communication skills
Deadline oriented
Flex experience
Photoshop a plus
Minimum Requirements
4+ years experience in software engineering. 2-4 plus years of iOS development experience. 2-4 plus years of JDBC experience. XML experience required.
Education
4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
