In this position, the individual will be responsible for developing embedded NAND flash solutions for our current and future products, performing flash storage based systems design, analysis, integration, and verification from product definition, and planning through production and release, as well as be responsible for system development, qualification, production, and application issues by working across functional groups to ensure rapid time to market, high performance, and high reliability. The individual will ensure successful technology transition in next generation flash storage systems, serve as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, and marketing as the products move to completion and distribution, and provide technical directions to junior engineers and engineering technicians. Lastly, the individual will design, define, and implement complex system requirements for customers and/or prepare studies and analyze existing systems, determine system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility, coordinate design of subsystems and integration of total system, identify, analyze, and resolve program support deficiencies, and develop and recommend corrective actions.

This position requires a BS/BA degree or equivalent with 2 or more years of related experience. The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. The individual must be self-motivated and self-directed, however, must have also demonstrated ability to work well with people and have a proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team. In addition, the individual must have the abilities to work effectively cross-functionally, coordinate priorities and initiatives, troubleshoot and analyze complex problems, and to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are required.
