Technical Skills (CSS Specific)
A multi-specialist with regard to technical systems and applications. Understands and can learn and adapt to situations that require different technology related skill sets such as: database administration, system integration, application development, and general file or system security.
Three to five years experience with enterprise and production level machinery, mobile internet devices, and peripherals, i.e. - operation, set up, configuration, integration, etc.
Expertise in solution design that leverages years of experience in operations environment(s).
Networks well with other IT teams and associates.
Typically has five to seven years "Rapid Application Development" experience (and corresponding skill sets) which leverages iterative methodologies.
Three to five years experience with data analysis, structured query language, data mining from relational databases, and report generation.
Serves as a liaison from CSS to ITS and Benefits IT.

Responsibilities
Conduct sound, systematic research among appropriate sources including stakeholders--customers, clients, vendors, internal and external users; service providers--competitors, internal and external subject matter experts; published literature; world-class service provider leaders; and the Internet to define customers' problems and needs and determine solution options.
Analyze the resulting information to recommend optimized solutions.
Determine, document, and present project proposals with business justifications that are aligned with the firm's strategic direction to meet customer and SS business needs Business justifications include financial results derived from cost/benefit analysis. Financial result measures include annualized rate of return, payback months, annualized savings.
Develop project budgets for management approval. Manages budgets for the duration of projects.
Lead cross-functional project teams that design, develop, and implement projects that fit the customers needs that each team causes to be expressed as functionality and quality specifications. Fit with customer's needs is determined through project performance on customer satisfaction measures.
With project implementations, establish, meet or exceed measurable performance goals that include efficiency (cost), effectiveness (functionality), and customer satisfaction.
Maintain database with complete, accurate, and current project records and documentation.
Generate monthly project status reports on key performance measures including project expenditures and variances from budgets. Provide explanations for variances above certain levels.
Prepare, schedule, and present project performance reviews each quarter.
Develop domain knowledge and expertise with regard to the firm's business and technology.
Qualifications

Technical Skills
Project management skills. Typically has five to seven years of significant experience and an advanced degree or bachelor's degree. Additional years of experience and other credentials which establish a high level of expertise are also desired.
Experience with software applications--Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and database applications.
Likely has expertise or comprehensive knowledge of a particular technical "specialty or industry" and business domain.
