Our client is a performance based online marketing firm located in San Francisco. They are seeking a direct response sales manager to join our rapidly growing, for-profit education lead generation division. In this role you will be charged with managing existing and chartering new relationship with the top for-profit education institutions (e.g. University of Phoenix, AIU, Kaplan, etc.)
Since the launch of our Education Division, we have fast become one of the industry’s leading providers of high quality consumer leads to our clients. Recognition of our abilities extends beyond our client base to our industry colleagues. Just this year we placed top three in the “Highest Conversion” category of Leads360's comprehensive Lead Industry Report. We’re looking to add sales staff to help us build on this and our many other accomplishments.
Excellent social, organizational and communication skills are a must. Experience with sales to for-profit education institutions is highly desirable but not required.
Daily Tasks:
1. Prospect for new schools through competitive research.
2. Attend conferences to meet with potential clients.
3. Work with the media team to discover new opportunities to sell.
4. Keep a pulse on the industry for regulatory environment changes to make sure we are selling compliant leads.
5. Keep detailed records of client interactions/needs/requirements.
6. Some travel is required.
7. Work with account managers to grow each account month over month.
Qualifications:
1. 4 year college degree.
2. Experience in direct response sales.
3. Existing client relationships.
4. Strong organizational skills.
5. Self starter, well spoken.
6. Microsoft Office Suite – high proficiency.
7. Knowledge of Salesforce.
