FT/Perm Position: EH&S Mgr-Denver, CO (no funds available for relocation)
The person in this role is ….
- Responsible for the development, implementation, management and maintenance of all EH&S programs for the division in multiple locations globally. This includes EH&S programs -including monitoring-training and orientation. Will develop different programs – as needed – which often can be specific to the particular site in question.
- Communicate with subordinates as needed to relay information (i.e. staff meetings, performance appraisals, job requirements, division metrics, projects, Quality Standard Procedures, and safety practices, etc).
- Will handle confidential matters (personnel actions, management reports, etc.) in accordance with corporate policy.
- Must maintain current knowledge of industrial hygiene and safety procedures.
- Interfaces with other Corporate EH&S staff as required.
***Preference will be given to candidates with CIH Certification
Required Skills:
- BS/BA required. (preference will be given to candidates with occupational safety relate degree and/or certifications). Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- A minimum of eight years experience in the field of health and safety is required with three years+ supervisory/management capacity.
- Must have current knowledge of OSHA and NFPA regulations, permits, certifications, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Preference will be given to candidates with ASP, GSP or CSP designation/certification.
Compensation:
- 90-100k+ (on base) – depending on years of relevant/industry-related experience, education, certification, etc. – full benefits.
- Relocation assistance IS NOT budgeted for this position.
