· Full-time/Perm Position - Tool and Die Maker (with metal manufacturing background-Colorado Springs (with relocation assistance available)

· The job:
· Analyze, debug, repair and improve mechanical and electrical components as integrated into manufacturing equipment providing production departments with efficient and well documented equipment striving to constantly improving process with innovative and creative thinking factoring in safety and risk assessment.
· Provide equipment which is safe to operator following accepted safety guarding practices. (Including Safety risk assessments, use and selection of interlocks and hard/soft guarding design, selection, fabrication and installation.)
· Complete process improvement on tooling, presses and mechanical metal cutting machines which will reduce setup and run time.
· Complete tooling and equipment improvement projects from conception through integration/implementation.
· Research, train with and implement new technologies and processes which will drive.
· Implement and support Kaizen and safety activities throughout the plant.
· Document and train employees on the operation of new equipment.

Requirements:
Five to seven years extensive field experience building, debugging, and maintaining tooling related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of experience and training.
Compensation:
$22 - $25+ per hour (depending on years of RELEVANT experience, education, certifications, etc) with overtime available.
