The Role: Director of Operations
The Location: Dallas, TX

Aztec Systems, an award-winning solutions company in its 20th year of providing high-impact business solutions to over 700 middle-market companies is searching for a "hands-on" dynamic leader to serve as our Director of Operations. The Director of Operations will assume full operational oversight over five Practice Areas (Lines of Business). They will also work in conjunction with the CEO to determine long-term strategic plans while managing operational excellence, project management/implementation, continuous improvement and performance management. The ultimate objective of the Director of Operations is to achieve highest customer satisfaction for both internal and external customers by the achievement of and Key Performance Indicators (KPI).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, operations, IT, or related field; MBA preferred
Ten or more years of experience in a professional services role with a track-record of advancement, including three or more years in an operational leadership role with full P&L responsibility
Experience leading and managing a professional services team composed of several departmental functions
Solid understanding of key operational and performance efficiency tools
Background in the opening and management of remote service offices would be an asset
Experience creating and implementing long-term strategy to support overall business objectives
Outgoing, hands-on, dynamic and approachable personality with the ability to infuse and inspire
Ability to serve as an executive representative for our organization; i.e. meeting with clients, attending customer events, joining appropriate associations and social networking
Knowledge of ERP; experience with ERP implementation helpful
Experience in operational due diligence associated with acquisitions preferred, but not required
Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft product suite
