[JimsJobs] Project Coordinator(s) with Primavera experience - Denver Tech Center (2 positions)

 

Two positions available (junior and senior) for Project Coordinators with experience in Primavera software.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Utilizing Primavera P6 - assist in the planning, reporting and control of costs and schedules for projects which are in the integrated master schedule.

·         Prepare reports on budget and schedules to ensure projects are within parameters for cost and schedule.

·         Assist in the generation of schedules and budgets for projects.

·         Ensure resource availability and prepare resource/schedule plans within Primavera.

Duties:

· Provide a single point of contact concerning cost/schedule control for assigned projects and tasking.

· Work with project management team to develop scope, schedule, budget and estimate to complete data for assigned projects.

· Assist with the creation of new project proposals.

· Have a good understanding of, and frequently use, project management practices, techniques, and standards.

· Proactively develop solutions to project schedule/resource planning issues.

· Utilize schedules/resources plans to maximize resource availability and communicate in advance any conflicts to ensure success.

· Provide output from all assigned project and pending project schedule/resource plans for input into the Annual Program Plan.

· Attend planning meetings with project team.

· Provide monthly performance reporting that accurately reflects the financial and schedule status of each assigned project comparing actual performance with planned performance, using Earned Value, and explain deviations from the plan.

· Compile project status, cash flow projections, resource leveling and cost modeling to provide "what if" analysis of alternate scenarios for projects.

· Assist with presentations for project optimizations and planning meetings with management and customer.

· Support the Project Manager by providing reports, documentation, and analysis for all proposed change requests.

· Ensure baseline performance records for assigned projects are accurately maintained and requests for changes to baseline are made timely.

· Ensure current schedule updates follow integrated master schedule change management process. 

· In cooperation with Budget Analysts, oversee the incorporation of contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each project in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.

· Participate in the completion of the Project Closeout Report.

· Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.

 

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in related field is required.  Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of a degree.

· Must understand and be able to apply generally accepted project management methods, procedures, and terminology.

· Computer literacy including intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.

· Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills.

 

COMP: 50-60k+ (depending on years of RELEVANT experience, education, etc).

 

NOTE: BOTH positions will require 2-4 months deployment outside US (with salary uplift during deployed periods).

 

Candidates WILL NOT be accepted without 1-3+ years experience scheduling projects (primarily construction) using Primavera P5 or P6.
