Business Development Manager
The Business Development Manager will drive new business opportunities and expand business into existing customers for our Technology Staffing practice in the NY/Eastern Region.
Business Development
• Interact and manage existing client accounts to increase sales.
• Target and open new sales opportunities.
• Identify, develop, and manage new sales accounts.
• Build relationships with existing contacts through client meetings.
• Identify marketing needs and strategies and develop solutions.
• Design and recommend new sales initiatives to widen customer base as well as develop new product ideas based on industry needs.
• Represents the company and leads the contract negotiation.
• Contribute to the profitability by working with the Finance Team to ensure all business closed is financial viable and profit margins are maintained
Any other duties as required by your manager.
Job requirements:
• BA/BS degree preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years previous sales experience, preferably Technology Staffing/Recruitment Industry
• An understanding of technology staffing/recruitment, consulting, contract to hire, staff augmentation, talent acquisition, direct souring, and strategic staffing
• Experience in updating databases
• Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel and other Microsoft packages
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent spoken and written communication skill
• Demonstrate high levels of motivation
• Self Starter
