The Director, Human Resources must be a strategic thought leader, have a track record of building partnerships with all levels of employees within the corporation and have a history of implementing successful programs across global organizations. The successful candidate will provide thought leadership in guiding, developing and implementing strategic and tactical HR initiatives focused on achieving business objectives. The position will ensure alignment between individual, business units and corporate practices as well as drive organizational design, development and effectiveness of work across global teams.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as a senior leader of the company by staying fully engaged in all aspects of the business and familiar enough with the entire operation to be able to contribute meaningful insight into business challenges and opportunities.
• Drive Business operations and performance through strong human resources processes and practices.
• Lead and develop direct reports to ensure their skills grow with the demands of the organization.
• Keep current on Human Resources law, legislation and trends domestically and internationally. Act as company liaison to external counsel on these matters.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated Abilities: Must have the ability to develop simple, straight-forward, effective and transparent plans that can be fully executed on a timely basis. Strong evidence of both a strategic and "hands on" leadership orientation to the HR role will be required.
• Skills/Knowledge: Demonstrated success in driving change in a global organization. Excellent knowledge in change management, recruiting, organizational design, communication techniques, employee relations, employment practices (domestic and international), human behavior, motivation and counseling techniques.
• Accountability: Must have the mindset of being just as accountable for running the business as the CEO.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree, MBA or related Master's degree preferred
