Public Relations Account Manager
PR Agency – SF Peninsula
Our client is a thriving full-service public relations agency serving emerging and established clients who are developing cool, innovative technology products focused on B2B technologies, mostly cloud and virtualization.
The ideal candidate would have 6-10 years high tech Public Relations experience including agency experience, and an understanding of data center infrastructure (physical, virtual and cloud.)
The ideal candidate can manage teams, provide strong recommendations and strategy to clients (all VC-backed startups), is a strong writer, and is excellent at media relations (and has the contacts to prove it).
Our client is looking for a talented professional who is proactive, has a sense of humor, and has the skills to make a difference. This person must be polished, and still learning and wants to continue learning, and must understand how to work with top level executives, and have the ability to gently and articulately push back if necessary.
This is a very relaxed yet hard working office culture where employees are valued and rewarded for accomplishments. The roles are flat – everyone does everything – strategic and implementation.
This position is more than press releases, it is about bringing value to clients who have specific corporate goals.
Requires a Bachelors degree in a related field (English, Communications, Business, Marketing, etc.)
Requires 6-10 years high tech public relations experience which includes agency experience.
Requires an understanding of data center infrastructure (physical, virtual, and cloud)
Must be a strategic thinker with ability to manage teams and multitask, have strong written and verbal communication skills, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
Compensation - $90k - $110k
