Our client is a global leader in performance analysis solutions, is searching for a passionate, team-oriented individual with exceptional communication skills for an opportunity to shape our company’s message to customers and prospects.  Of particular importance will be listening to our customers regularly in order to tell their amazing success stories.  The ideal candidate will be skilled in representing ideas in writing and guiding the creation of powerful visual collateral.

 Skills, traits and background required:

·           Exceptional interpersonal skills. 

·           Excellent writing and oral skills. 

·           Must be a great listener.

·           Lifelong learner with particular interest in learning about technology.

·           Serious sports fan, former athlete or former coach.

·           Strong technology skills.

o   Deep understanding of social media platforms

o   Demonstrable skills with the company’s products

·           Bachelors Degree or equivalent

·           Must work in the office in Camarillo, CA.

 

Preferred background:

·           Background in healthcare or higher education a bonus.

 

Specific duties:

·           Tracking customer success stories.  Our customers are our best advocates.  There are innumerable meaningful stories that need to be told.

o   Role will entail scouring various user groups to find compelling stories (both product and industry specific stories).

o   Keep a “Champions” or achievement alert for publicizing on our websites and social media platforms.

o   Liaise with important partners regularly in order to promote results, events or anything that would be important for our promotional and sales efforts.

 

·           Research projects

o   As new markets emerge the Communications Manager will provide assistance in the research process.

·           Tradeshow/conference planning

o   Plan and guide creation of collateral for shows.

o   Promote shows/conferences to possible attendees through email blasts and social media.

o   Plan tradeshow/conference appearance:

§  Booth design

§  Planning and guiding creation of collateral

§  Lead gathering and distribution

o   Tradeshow/conference follow up:

§  Lead tracking

§  Statistically assess value of shows based on concluded sales.

·           Marketing collateral creation

o   Plan and guide creation of fliers for each important market.

o   Plan and guide creation of fliers announcing new and upgraded products

o   Plan and guide creation of case study fliers.

·           Responsible for newsletter content.

o   Work with various support and sales staff to create content for monthly newsletters.

·           Social media content creation/account mgmt

o   Twitter content will be updated daily.

o   Facebook content

o   Drive subscription to social media platforms

·           Mgmt of Customer database

o   Maintaining the quality of the data in our CRM system. 

·           Executing promotional campaigns for new products

o   Develop and distribute media for campaigns

o   Gather results from promotional efforts

o   Track sales efforts/success rates.

o   Report on results from promotional and sales efforts to management regularly.

·           Surveying, collating and reporting on customer experience with a focus on product innovation and development.

o   Survey customers to find pain.  Surveys should be very thoughtful.
