Role: Channel Program Marketing Manager
Client: Networking Leader
Location: San Jose or Boston
Timeframe: August-January
Position Overview:
Bergerson Group is seeking a full time channel marketing program manager to provide the services listed below to our client for a six month period. This is a W2 opportunity at Bergerson Group.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Program management of the client's Master Partner Marketing Program.
• Ideating, developing, executing and managing partner marketing entitlements in support of the route to market partner's marketing efforts in areas such as: PR, brand, thought leadership and event recognition
• Collaborate with the client's internal teams to build out and manage these partner marketing efforts
• Management of marketing activities such as success stories, videos, collateral, etc in support of the Master's Partner Marketing Program
• Extend the client's Speaker Bureau offerings to help partners secure internal and external speakers for their events
Additional responsibilities include:
• Demonstrating a working knowledge of the channel partner and their business models.
• Responsible for partner marketing interface and ongoing marketing relationship.
• Working collaboratively with Partner Sales Managers and internal marketing counterparts
Skill Sets:
• 10-15+ years of channel marketing program experience
• Strong understanding of partner business models, especially Distribution, DMR and System Integrators
• Past experience at Micrsoft, Cisco, HP, etc is a plus
• Knowledge of a variety of marketing functions: PR, Brand, Speakers, etc
• Ability to develop and manage integrated marketing campaigns
• Exercise excellent judgment to select methods and evaluate criteria to achieve desired results
• Ability to negotiate with cross-functional marcom teams
• Expertly manage internal/external vendors and track budgets
• Influencing skills with senior level managers/directors
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent project management, negotiation and decision-making skills
• Team player, willing to go the extra mile when needed
• Self-motivated, resourceful, takes initiative
• Excellent time management skills
• Consistent follow-through on projects
• Very organized and detail oriented
• Proven ability to multi-task
• BA or BS Required
