Executive Communications Manager Job Description
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Inform and position functional messages to partners, customers, employees, and the external community through one leadership voice to deliver functional, brand, and actionable messages for greater impact.
§ Develop individual 'point of view' (PoV) for services sales SVP.
§ Create and execute an integrated communication plan with investor relations, public relations, analyst relations and internal communications in support of this POV.
§ Ensure overall communications strategy is successfully executed across multiple channels in partnering organizations within CA and product sales.
§ Manage strategic calendar and speaker placement planning process, including incoming event and speaking requests, driving collaborative model to assess requests and confirming or declining.
§ Manage video requests / shoots / scheduling / studio and vendor payments
§ Manage written requests and special writing assignments.
§ Create event briefs, materials, presentations, PoV web, blog and new media updates.
§ Promotion/placement of Service executives in external speaking engagements via
speaker bureau.
§ Travel required as needed.
Supervision needed:
Works independently and participates primarily with senior management (C-level, GM, VPs, etc.) and executives to establish and set forth strategic plans and objectives for specialized programs that may have direct impact on the line of business revenue goals.

Ability to grasp technical issues and market considerations. Solid project management skills. .
Success Factors:
Has created an established track record and reputation for successfully growing the profile of an executive, functional area or business essential program. Seen as a positioning resource to executives. Has established case studies of successfully collaborating with other communication departments to deliver high impact communication strategy and executive expertise to executives. Demonstrates thorough working knowledge of all Comm functions or one functional area of expertise. Also demonstrates industry and networking expertise; negotiation and influencing expertise; content development; multi-task managing skills; conflict and risk management skills and leadership skills. Will be measured on a mix of quantifiable and qualitative metrics such as: executive presentation scores; web hits and downloads; perceptions influenced; employee pulse survey; executive, manager, and peer-level feedback.
