Informatica Developer

They are starting as three month contracts but they will be selected to go onto a three year assignment if all goes well.
Type of Application: Informatica Developer/Analyst
Assignment Description (Analyst/Developer/DBA … etc.): Perform Analysis, Design, Development and Testing of new Informatica mappings.
Assignment Responsibilities: Under General Supervision, assume primary responsibility for creating Informatica mapping technical design specifications based on functional designs and business requirements as well as development and unit testing of these Informatica mappings. This will include working with IT Data Analysts in a team environment to design, develop and unit test the required mappings. Participate in the integration, system and performance testing of new and existing Informatica mappings and SQL Server stored procedures. Need to have the ability and willingness to perform analysis and defect resolution with limited guidance. Provide detailed input on technical decisions regarding design, testing, and maintenance and documentation of the processes and code developed to support the above efforts. The mappings will be developed using Informatica v8.6.1. The Sources are SQL Server and Oracle databases. Target Databases are all SQL Server. Being able to read and modify stored procedures in Microsoft SQL Server is a requirement. Familiarity with data warehousing technology is also a requirement.
