Description
Tiny Prints is looking for someone with a passion for marketing and media, who can play a key support role on the Integrated Marketing team. This is an extraordinary opportunity for a mid-level super star, with experience in account service or media, to gain valuable experience working on an emerging powerhouse brand. This position will report to the Sr. Manager of Integrated Marketing and work with other teams within the Marketing organization and throughout Tiny Prints to execute cross-functional campaigns. S/he will also be responsible for managing the Integrated Marketing media plan, helping to evaluate potential media opportunities, ensuring that budgets are adhered to and associated material deadlines are met.
Scope of Responsibilities
* Online & Offline Advertising – Today Tiny Prints advertises in premier offline publications such as Martha Stewart Weddings, Real Simple and targeted high profile sites such as BabyCenter, TheKnot.com. The Specialist will oversee the creative development, media buying, and performance measurement of our offline advertising and direct‐from‐publisher online advertising buys team to execute the campaigns. This position will manage the approved media plan, making sure that all publications/media channels are supplied with appropriate materials in a timely manner. S/he will also manage the media budget, working with the Tiny Prints financial team to ensure that billing is managed and accounted for.
* Integrated Marketing Campaigns – The Specialist will be involved in the development and execution of integrated marketing campaign ideas, supporting the Sr. Manager of Integrated Marketing in working with cross‐functional teams as well as external agencies to execute such campaigns.
* Brand Strategy & Evangelism –Tiny Prints just completed an extensive re‐branding effort resulting in a new brand identity. The Specialist will have the benefit of this work as a foundation from which to build our brand equity and awareness. The Specialist will be a key player on the brand steward team, working to ensure that brand style guides are maintained and that the brand's DNA permeates throughout the organization, in everything we do, across all customer touch points.
* Customer Insights –Live and breathe our target customers. This embodies intimately knowing who the customers are, their needs and wants, their environment, the media they consume, the external trends affecting their behaviors, etc.
Experience
* Consumer Advertising ‐ Minimum 5 years of total working experience managing +$million national consumer advertising account/budget either on the agency or client side. Must be experienced in developing both offline advertising as well as online advertising programs ‐‐ must have a general understanding of how to evaluate and implement behavioral targeting, CPC/CPM display advertising, etc.
* Online B2C Experience – Ideal candidate will have consumer marketing experience at an online B2C company or managed an online B2C account at an advertising agency.
* Social Media Savvy – Although the Specialist will not own the social media channel, s/he must be passionate about social media and able to contribute to developing compelling integrated marketing campaigns that have high potential of going viral via Social Media. Experience managing contests, promotions, and other community engagement programs a plus.
* Partnerships – Experienced in managing clients or partners.
* Brand Strategy ‐‐ Involved in major brand strategy projects such as brand identity re‐design, brand re‐positioning, or launch of a new brand.
* Creative Interest -- A keen understanding of creative integrity and the ability to evaluate and support good work. Passion for film/design a plus.
