We are currently looking for a Sales Manager is responsible for managing and administering all aspects of sales and sales support functions for a dedicated sales team. The Sales Manager, along with her/his team, must meet or exceed goals set by management. She/He will bring the right combination of energy, product expertise, and sales skills to quickly manage account from leads to close for the continued growth of inside sales.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Lead a sales team of 6 or more employees to meet or exceed established sales goals.
• Recruit, interview, hire, coach, evaluate, and retain an engaged and motivated sales team.
• Ensure that team members demonstrate sales-focused and customer-centric behaviors when interacting with customers.
• Respond to customer inquires in a timely manner and address their concerns quickly.
• Maintain quality and work with management on any process issues to provide resolution in a timely manner through follow-ups with the customer, call/email monitoring, web chat monitoring, web quoting.
• Address and escalate customer service issues to Director of Marketing and Sales as appropriate.
• Conduct daily quote reviews for high value quotes and regular account reviews of top accounts.
• Act as backup for the Director of Marketing and Sales on pricing of high value jobs for any sales person.
• Review individual and team's performance (weekly/monthly/annually) and promote/counsel when appropriate.
• Manage and coordinate requests for time-off and attendance of team to ensure 12 hour day coverage for customer support.
• Meet regularly at the end-of-week with Director of Marketing and Sales to review sales for the week, tactical changes and strategize for the coming week.
• Interact with Production to resolve escalated issues and/or follow up on high tech jobs.
• Assist with commissions and incentive compensation analysis and reporting.
• Analyze and prepare reports and forecasts.
• Work with management on establishing training processes and certifications.
• Provide trainings to sales team on new processes and tools as needed.
• Act as marketing campaign facilitator of outbound calls.
• Must be dependable and maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
Ideal Candidate should have the following qualifications:
• B.S. degree in related field.
• 5+ years of strong sales experience, preferably in an electronics manufacturing services (EMS) industry.
• Successful track record in building and managing a sales team.
• Ability to work with Sales teams to resolves daily issues.
• Dynamic and energetic team leader.
• Previously responsible for sales forecasting and budgeting a must.
• Maintain and effectively use knowledge of sales and technical expertise.
• Experience in recruiting, hiring, training, and coaching successful sales representative.
• Strong organizational, time management, analytical, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and public speaking communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills: Microsoft (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook) and various sales software a plus.
• Ability to perform at the highest level in a fast-paced and goal oriented environment.
• Excellent accounting and numeric ability
• Must be dependable with history of excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Be amenable and amicable.
