For more information please visit our website at www.spectra-labs.com * Register Patient demographics including insurance information. * Become familiar with and review accounts receivable aging for collection process for all financial classes. * Receive and respond to incoming/outgoing correspondence and telephone calls regarding all patient billing information. * Verifying insurance data through various mediums (i.e. website, phone, fax, etc.). * Become familiar with and process denials and refunds. * Print copies of AOBs, EOBs, etc. via Stellent. * Perform other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Experience: Two years of demonstrated experience in business and accounting practice, preferably in a healthcare setting. Requirements: Must have a thorough understanding of business and accounting/collections practice. Must have basic knowledge of Word & Excel and use of business machines (i.e. computer, calculator, copier, fax, printers, etc.). Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Physical Abilities: Must be able to lift 20 pounds and sit for extended periods of time.
