Description:
The Data Warehouse Project provides decision support information to client management, statistical research staff, and statewide service providers. Data is taken from mainframe and server-based OLTP systems is transformed via COBOL, PL/SQL, and Informatica, and loaded into Oracle star schema databases. Data is made available to end-users using Business Objects Client/Server and Web OLAP applications.
Project duties will be to function primarily in a quality assurance role as a system tester, support the user community in user acceptance testing and the general use of the data warehouse, and develop ad hoc reports as needed.
Strong batch testing and report development skills are required. Experience working in a mainframe environment is preferred, but not required. Experience with PL/SQL, Business Objects and Xcelsius required.
