Title: Sr. Business Analyst (Finance)
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 6 mos+
We are looking for a Strong Business Analyst with a Financial Background and someone who´s well versed in dealing with Business and IT. You must have strong system knowledge (Essbase, Excel, Oracle, Business Objects, Access, PowerPoint) and provide necessary reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly/Quarterly close activities (JVs, PO approvals, Accruals), forecasting, variance analysis and executive reporting.
- Continuously strive to automate processes & increase Productivity
Maintain strong cross-functional relationships in the areas of Finance, H/R, and Procurement.
- Superb collaboration and communication skills
- Strong financial, analytical, and modeling
- Strong system knowledge (Essbase, Excel, Oracle, Business Objects, Access, PowerPoint)
- Highly motivated, independent and accountable
- Team player with "can-do" attitude and focus.
- Demonstrates the ability to prioritize
- Embraces challenge, demonstrates adaptability
- Solid understanding of GAAP
- BS Degree with 5-7 years of Finance experience
- Experience in Project Management and/or supporting an IT organization a plus
