The Role: 3D Simulation Engineer
The Location: Austin, TX
TrackingPoint is an early-stage startup in the military electro-optics market. Founded by a well-respected and proven team of entrepreneurs, TrackingPoint is on a path to transform weapon system performance by the application of its groundbreaking technology. We are currently searching for a 3D Simulation Engineer to develop an embedded 3D training simulation and video test system using a 3D Engine on Linux or Android OS targeting an embedded application processor.
Required Skills & Experience:
œ Bachelorfs of Science degree in engineering or related field, OR 5 years of senior level experience in interactive software
œ Experience working with content creators in the creation of realistic 3D models, environments and effects
œ Deep knowledge of Unreal Engine III or equivalent including; Animation, Unreal Matinee, Unreal AI, Kismet, Lightmass, Landscape and Unreal Physics
œ Experience in developing for Tegra2, OMAP 4 or equivalent embedded core
œ Understanding of embedded development on Linux or Android OS
œ Experience contributing in a senior role to a retail product or demo built on Unreal Engine III or serving a primary role in developing a released app or demo built on the Android OS
œ Experience in virtual training environments
œ Knowledge of image processing is preferred, but not required
