This project involves the reuse of BRAS L2TP routers from the Midwest
region. This effort will include analysis to identify candidate routers,
initiating circuit moves to clear existing traffic and the removal, shipment
and installation of routers.
Job Description:

The primary responsibility for this position will be to analyze the project
plan and initiate changes in Internet Service Provider (ISP) data sheets
that track network configuration. Additionally, this position will be
involved in BRAS Capacity Management which includes monitor capacity and
take action to insure that the appropriate amount of equipment is available
to meet the forecasted, trended or immediate customer service and
infrastructure demands on the network. Includes capacity analysis,
exhaust/trend analysis, processing requests for port/facility assignments,
preparation of EHBs and all supporting justification required to obtain
budget approval.
