The position will manage and participate in the development of mobile
applications and their architectures in the areas of mobile commerce,
location services, media streaming, social networking, etc. The position
willl need extensive and solid experiences and background in service
architecture as well as project/product management and delivery.
Job Description:

Responsibilities:
o Provide technical leadership for new product/technology development
projects in the areas including but not limited to location based services,
mobile financial services, media streaming services, social networking
services.
o Develop architecture solutions and requirements specifications to address
business opportunities/requirements/challenges in mobile applications
development, product lifecycle management, and AT&Ts applications ecosystem
(including storefront, mobile commerce systems, IT systems, and wireless
network, partner systems).
o Conduct and perform analysis and impact assessment of business and
operational requirements and propose solutions and approaches
o Ensuring technical robustness, scalability, usability and maintainability
of the white labeled AT&T products
o Cultivating best practices within the design and development team in terms
of design standards, coding standards, best practices, etc.
o Managing product/technology development projects from concept to
deployment via developing project plans, managing their executions, and
providing timely updates on project progress to cross-functional stakeholder
teams including the vendors
Qualifications:
o 5+ years in product/technology development or equivalent experience
delivering software or wireless data services. Previous product/technology
development responsibility in the field of wireless location based services,
mobile applications development, or mobile commerce is preferred.
o 5+ years in development and specifications of solution and reference
architectures in distributed or software systems. Prior experiences for
wireless services preferred. o Deep and demonstrable domain
expertise/experience in mobile device's application platform (e.g., J2ME,
Android, Windows Mobile, etc), wireless data services architecture and
eco-system preferred.
o Prior experience with wireless networks, services, and technologies,
internet or software development preferred.
o Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
o Ability to organize and motivate large cross-functional teams
o Ability to define requirements, drive product development and support
activities with device manufacturers, solution providers
o Capable of articulating product position, marketing requirements,
technologies across internal teams
o Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
o Must have proven success in developing and delivering presentations,
including experience with PowerPoint.
o Specific experience with mobile commerce and applications development is
preferred.
o Bachelor degree in a related, approved field required. Master degree in
Engineering or Science preferred.
