FT/Perm Position(s): Product Design Engineers (2 positions open) with metals background - Chicago, IL
A long time manufacturer of specialty tools has an outstanding opportunity for two Product Design Engineers (one with hand tools manufacturing background and one with power tools manufacturing background) looking for career growth and opportunities for advancement. We are looking for promotable candidates with a 4-year technical degree and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience manufacturing hand and/or power tools. Candidates with a past track record of improving processes and experience dealing with cold heading, tooling, metal cutting, broaching, stamping and/or grinding will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with conducting Kaizens, Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience.
