Build Specialist/Configuration Manager

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
The Build Specialist / Configuration Manager will be a part of the product development team. They will be responsible for ensuring that the build environment runs smoothly and that the product simulations are able to run on time. This position will not have any direct reports, but will work in a "team" environment.
Required Skills & Experience:
œ A bachelorfs degree in computer science is preferred, but not required. Equivalent talent and experience will be considered
œ PLM admin experience
œ Thorough knowledge of build environments
œ Experience interfacing between Development and Quality Assurance
œ Extreme level of attention to detail and desire to ensure those standards are upheld
œ Direct experience in the creation and facilitation of version control and configuration management
œ Experience in ECO workflow and control
œ Must be an independent self-starter with strong initiative and commitment to excellence
œ Excellent interpersonal communication skills with ability to interact with all levels in an organization
Recommended Skills & Experience:
œ Experience interfacing with manufacturing
œ Experience with ERP systems
œ Engineering background (i.e. Mechanical, Optical or Electrical Engineering): Experience using engineering tools and ability to audit engineering files: Altium, Zemax, Solidworks, Subversion
œ Familiarity with ASME standards
Beneficial Skills & Experience:
œ Capable of providing IT support
œ Experience interacting with automated build processes, simulation environments
œ Ability to write scripts to create and improve them
œ Experience with image processing systems
œ Experience working in a development environment creating consumer electronics
œ Experience with ISO 9000 compliance
