Job Description
Netpulse is looking for an Senior QA Automation Engineer to be an integral part of our engineering team. You have a solid technical background and focus on quality, testing strategy, and delivering high-quality results in a time-sensitive environment. You are a stickler for detail but you don't lose track of the larger picture. If hopping on a treadmill or an elliptical trainer to verify a user story and then hopping off to automate that test sounds like how you'd like to spend your work day we would love to talk to you!
Desired Skills & Experience
Desire and ability to develop automation both from scratch and from common automation platforms like Selenium, QTP, or TestNG
You are fluent with html, javascript, XML, C++, Java, SQL and other web application technologies.
The Linux command line is your second home.
You have been a scrum team member and know the value of a good Scrum Master and Product Owner.
You'd rather write automated tests than document test cases.
You have comfort and experience white-box testing both front- and back-end systems, databases, and multi-tier architectures.
Working knowledge of SQL and database usage
Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related field, or equivalent work experience
