Title: Visual Interaction Designer Needed to Create Scenarios for Future Product

Duration: Full time for 3 months (August – October), part time for 2 months (November-December)

Terms: Contract with possibility for hire

Location: On-site preferred

As a Visual Interaction Designer at the UX Center, your role will be to…

Help refine and create scenarios for a future product. Are you good at putting yourself in others' shoes? We need someone who can imagine diverse situations in which this new product will be used and do so from a variety of user perspectives.

Depict these scenarios in a storyboard/comic strip format. The deliverables for this position will be a set of illustrated scenarios including basic UI designs/wireframes necessary to show the interaction. Ability to illustrate/represent people and environments is a must. The stories must be clear and easily understood, but feel free to add your own style and voice to the visualizations!

Qualifications

Experience in UX/UI design (web sites, mobile interfaces, exhibition design, etc).

Ability to draw well and communicate clearly using visuals.

A formal education in design or illustration.

Time-management and prioritization skills.

The ability to take on parts of this project as your own without needing constant direction.

High attention to detail.

Proficiency in leading design software applications (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, AfterEffects) is preferred but not required.
