Sr. Java Developer

Work Summary
The candidates will perform in a server-side development role or may also work on client side, and may also be responsible for writing requirements/technical specifications/use cases. The candidates are expected to demonstrate expertise in core Java as well as web technologies such as XHTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Apache, AJAX and SOAP, XML and XPATH. Applicants should have experience using multiple programming/scripting languages, developing automated test cases using the JUNIT Framework, and in cross browser development. Experience with JSF, Spring and Hibernate frameworks is a major plus. The candidates are expected to work creatively and independently to accomplish project goals.
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The ideal candidate(s) must have at least 8-10 years of progressively diverse analysis, development, and testing experience using Java and Web technologies. The person must demonstrate strong knowledge and experience with the responsibilities outlined above. The candidate must have significant experience with technologies listed.
Experience in J2EE and core Java packages.
Experience in web technologies such as: XHTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and cross-browser development.
Experience with XML.
Experience in developing automated test cases using the JUNIT Framework.
Experience in other frameworks such as JSF, Spring, Hibernate, Struts, etc.
Experience with JBOSS is a plus
Good communication skills in order to interact with clients, and other technical staff.
