Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is currently looking for a short-term Video Technologies Marketing Manager consultant for one of its high-tech clients located in San Jose, CA. The consultant will be responsible for launch project management as well as general product marketing management for the client's Video Infrastructure solutions.
Specific responsibilities include:
* Review and comprehend existing messaging, marketing plan and launch plan for the video initiative
* Drive execution of marketing plan and launch plan with internal teams and vendors
* Develop and manage all plan action items and timeline
* Collaborate with BU and Product Marketing for input and review
* Review all content to ensure cohesive, compelling message and position meets customer needs
* Partner with Marketing Communications to develop and deliver launch collateral and assets, such as: sales tools, customer presentations, customer resources, and website content
* Provide input as needed for Video participation in industry events
Skills:
* 6-8 years marketing experience in the high-tech industry
* Minimum 3 years experience in market management for video technologies
* Macintosh or PC proficient using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Understanding of video technologies, ability to 'talk the talk'
* Proactive / self-starter
* BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Business, IS or equivalent
Rate: $2,200 per week, D.O.E., as a w2 employee of Crawford Group
Location: Onsite at corporate headquarters in San Jose, CA
Hours/duration: Full-time, September 5, 2011 – January 27, 2012
