Director of EMEA Marketing

The Position
The Director of EMEA Marketing will be responsible for all outbound marketing activities for FireEye's expanding presence in Europe. As a core member of the Marketing team, the Director of EMEA Marketing will own all EMEA public relations, analyst relations, product marketing, channel marketing and field marketing/demand generation. The Director of EMEA Marketing will work closely with Product Marketing, Technical Marketing, and Sales. The position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and will be based in London, UK.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have 10-20 years of high technology marketing experience. Strong written and oral communication skills are mandatory. Marketing acumen, EMEA high technology leadership experience and expertise with enterprise products are highly valuable. Candidates with high energy, a responsive attitude, and a desire for success will be given preference.
Required Skills and Attributes
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing is required, MBA highly desirable
• Experience running entire marketing function for EMEA for an enterprise-focused
company or running field or channel marketing for a larger, more established
company; some experience in B2B security hardware and/or software a big plus
(Firewall, IPS, AV, Web/Email Security)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong ability to conceive and initiate new ideas
• Ability to engage completely with the technical and sales communities with good
communication and credibility
• Talented at providing vision, guidance, and structure to outbound marketing
• Self motivated, driven and passionate about winning
• Detail oriented
