Opportunity
Healthline is searching for a passionate and seasoned product manager to join its team. The product management team at Healthline.com is responsible for determining what features and functionality should be brought to market, designing the vision for the user experience, and guiding the development and launch process. We define key business metrics and find ways to continually improve those metrics via testing and analysis. Through close collaboration with engineering, design and editorial, we relentlessly advocate for end users while ensuring that we´re building on an already profitable business model.
Responsibilies
* Lead ideation, development and launch of new products and enhancements
* Guide product development process with design and engineering teams
* Initiate and integrate research and analysis about relevant markets and target users into product requirements
* Define and analyze key metrics
* Build, document and socialize user stories and product requirements in a collaborative way
* Relentlessly prioritize opportunities based on business objectives
* Ensure that Healthline.com incorporates leading SEO best practices throughout the site
Requirements
* Results oriented, self-directed and self motivated
* Exceptional communication and leadership skills
* Highly organized, accurate and detail oriented
* Able to juggle many things at once while staying focused
* Experience designing simple and intuitive user interfaces; has the ability to create examples through wire frames and mock ups
* 2+ years product management, product marketing or program management experience at a media consumer web company; strong preference for cross-discipline product experience (product marketing + product management + program management)
* BA/BS (technical background preferred; MBA optional)
* Strong experience with SEO, mobile and social
