Responsibilities:
This role is a key member to a growing accounting team, and job duties will entail:
AP/AR, GL, bank reconciliations, soft collections
Creating, updating and reconciling all sub-ledgers
Heavily involved in monthly close and annual audits
Manage monthly employee expense processing and reporting
Assist with maintaining financial spreadsheets and reports
General filing and other administrative tasks
Numerous opportunities in other accounting projects, depending on interest
Required Skills:
The ideal candidate will be positive, upbeat, a self-starter, thrive in a fast growing organization and able to turn their hand to many diverse tasks.
Bachelor´s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
Two years minimum full charge accounting experience
Excellent knowledge of financial modules (AP, AR and GL) required
Can prioritize and multi-task
Excellent follow-through and meticulous eye for detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
Experience with QuickBooks strongly preferred.
Bonus Points:
CPA
Working knowledge of accounting methods (GAAP knowledge)
Excel Master
Previous experience in start-up or technology industry
Extra bonus points for experience in Internet, software or online advertising revenue recognition issues
Netsuite experience
