Vice President, Sales (Technology & Industrial) for fmg

fmg (www.wearefmg.com) seeks a VP, Sales to initiate and develop its sales efforts in the Technology, OEM and Industrial Products Sector in the United States. fmg integrates the creative, production and distribution of content with consumer analytics to drive marketing ROI in all forms of media.

fmg, backed by a $1.3 B private equity fund, is a 200-person print and digital media production agency with delivery capabilities out of New York, London and Chennai. We have strong relationships with large, reference-able clients in the Retail, Digital Content Aggregation, Digital Agencies, Travel, Sports & Leisure, and Publishing sectors. With rapidly growing penetration into major US B2C brands, fmg is now interested in bringing its marketing services capabilities to the B2B sector.

The sales executive we are looking for must have direct experience selling or orchestrating digital marketing solutions for the marketing departments of large technology and /or industrial product companies. Ideally, you would have worked to orchestrate or develop digital campaigns harnessing the power of micro-sites, websites, social media, and other rich media distribution vehicles. You will possess a deep understanding of the objectives, context and success metrics B2B marketers monitor when launching and assessing online campaigns. You would have first hand knowledge on what makes such campaigns effective and how they could be coordinated with other marketing initiatives (both online and offline).

The ideal candidate would have a Bachelors degree from a reputed university in a business discipline with at least 5 years of work experience and at least 2-3 years of directly relevant experience. You will have a track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas, and a network that can be leveraged by you to achieve early traction. Your working style will be entrepreneurial and you will thrive in the ambiguity of market that is still getting defined. You would be a team player, but also a self starter who is driven to excel.

The location of the position is ideally the West coast but we would be willing to consider other major metros for the right candidate. In either case, you should expect significant travel across the US to pursue business opportunities for the company.
