Online Marketing Specialist
Our client is a highly successful Silicon Valley start-up to the small-medium size businesses.
The Online Marketing Specialist will create and deploy highly effective online marketing programs and demand generation initiatives including online advertising, SEM, social media, co-marketing opportunities, inbound programs, and more. This position is both creative and analytical in nature.
In this position, you will play a key role in identifying, developing, and implementing awareness programs that directly impact the critical business metrics
Requires a passion for Social Media and a thorough understanding of how to best use these tools for marketing: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other valuable social media outlets. Responsible to implement and manage online programs focusing on building awareness and partner acquisition.
Must analyze and report program performance; provide results and recommendations for improvement and new programs, leverage a "test, measure, and refine" approach to constantly improve program results and increase the impact of online marketing on revenue and profitability.
Responsible to execute highly effective direct response programs to significantly increase inbound lead flow and pipeline generation, propose new online/inbound marketing program ideas along with data, costs, and estimated ROI to execute these programs, and develop ad copy, landing pages, banner creatives, and other marketing collateral.
Required to manage weekly and monthly reporting and tracking, flagging issues for internal stakeholders and report metrics appropriately, develop and manage metrics; understand and implement coding schemes for tracking purposes, and manage Paid Search campaigns. Must understand, optimize, and expand our keyword list, and provide support for other areas of marketing as needed.
Requirements:
BA/BS Degree required.
3+ years in an online marketing role.
Thorough understanding of online and inbound marketing a must.
Ability to stretch limited budgets to squeeze the most out of programs for the best possible ROI.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to perform ROI analysis and identify tactics for constant improvement.
Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Motivated self-starter with a high level of initiative and a sense of urgency.
Highly analytical, comfortable with large amounts of numbers/number crunching, and excellent at producing reports on the data.
Previous experience with Google Analytics a must.
Passion for delivering results and driving internal and external customer success.
Previous experience with marketing automation tools.
Proven experience with SEO and SEM/PPC.
Ability to effectively accomplish goals while working in a team-based, open-office environment.
Previous experience in a B2B high tech online marketing role focusing on partner sales and enablement a big plus.
Email campaign experience a plus.
Familiarity with web services, APIs, and data feeds a plus.
HTML and CSS skills a plus.
Some travel may be required.
Base Salary is $70k - $80k.
