We now have a unique opportunity for a qualified candidate in the IT software space to leverage their product marketing background for this great opportunity with this growing software company:
Position title: Senior Product Marketing Manager
Location: Any location across the U.S.
Position duties:
•Take leadership role in new performance management offering for enterprise and mid-market
•Contribute and develop the top-level product messaging and positioning
•Create content for software industry events, sales collateral and website
•Create and execute product go-to-market plans
•Contribute to marketing requirements documents, strategic product planning, and annual
planning process
•Create and distribute product collateral and sales tools
•Primary product marketing contact for the direct and channel sales organizations for product,
market and competitive information
•Work closely with lead gen organization, including writing scripts, emails, enablement, etc.
•Product evangelist in webinars, trade shows and internal briefings
•Participate in sales calls and other customer facing activities to generate requirements for new
product and feature creation
•Work with Product Management to ensure sales and channel readiness for product releases
•Participate in social media activities such as blogging, twitter, LinkedIn
Qualifications and Skills
•7+ years product marketing or product management experience in enterprise software
marketing. Recent experience with IT management software such as network monitoring,
network performance, application performance management, etc.
•Out of the box, creative thinker
•Experience with marketing <$100K products to Global 2000 customers a plus
•Experience with e-Commerce market a plus
•Bachelor's Degree in technical field preferred
•Proven ability to work independently
•Experience working with inter-departmental stakeholders to create and implement a project
•Direct experience marketing or working with data center management technologies
•Strong technical background
•Exceptional communication and organization skills
•Ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environment
•Team player
•Ability to travel at least one week per month
