Primary Responsibilities
· Define demand generation strategy and specific plans based on customer and market insights;
work across functions to align and execute
· Define overall demand generation plan including acquisition, conversion and retention strategies
· Manage internal teams and external resources
· Using a metrics-based approach and strong communication and influencing skills, turn analytic
insights into actionable plans and operational excellence
· Provide strong leadership, inspiration and mentorship to the marketing team
· Build robust methodologies and tools for market analysis and prioritization
Experience
Demonstrated aptitude in data analysis, and defining and executing demand generation strategies, and have high degree of analytic and strategic capabilities.
Company prefers the following:
- Prefer Bachelorâ™s degree and a minimum of 10 years work experience; MBA a plus
- Currently a director or senior manager in a similar capacity at a software company or at a
- consumer products company with demonstrated success in modeling, setting up and
incrementally improving an end-to-end revenue machine with significant online sales
- Experience influencing cross-functional teams; demonstrated success in driving execution
- International perspective/ experience
- Experience and track record in working closely with Sales to define lead follow-up and
management processes
Skills
· Strong leadership skills â" including recruiting, team cohesion, incremental performance
improvements, setting appropriately challenging goals and objectives and then managing to success
· A culture of experimentation that focuses on pilot projects to prove new approaches
· Direct experience with online advertising, including Google
· Direct experience with organic search (SEO) strategies and methodologies
· Direct experience with marketing automation systems (Marketo) and their integration with Salesforce.com
· Direct experience with the latest in sales productivity tools like Jigsaw, Hoovers, etc.
· Strong social media experience and skill sets
· Previous, demonstrable experience building and leveraging forecast models utilizing historical data
· Direct experience with organizing company participation at conferences and trade shows
· Must be able to create visual maps and business process diagrams to improve efficiency
· Proven ability to work effectively with sales organizations to drive results
· Strong knowledge of the Content Management Systems (CMS) and website application framework space
· Great attitude, high energy, strong work ethic, and detail oriented.
· Ability to apply applicable mathematical concepts to certain tasks and demonstrate commonsense reasoning ability
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills
· Strong problem-solving skills in a team-oriented environment
· Ability to think creatively
· Strong interpersonal skills - friendly, builds relationships and trust
· Strong collaboration skills - works well with others; take responsibility for team success/failures
· Highly organized
· Strong ownership and initiative, self-starter and finisher, drives projects and tasks to conclusion
· Excellent judgment - able to act decisively, but ask for advice /assistance when needed
· Professional - always represents self and company in a positive manner

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education
· Bachelorâ™s degree required, MBA is preferred
