The Role: Clinical Content Lead
The Location: Boston, MA – Newton, MA

McKesson Specialty Health provides innovative clinical, research, technology, business and operational solutions to community practices to improve their financial health and help them provide quality care for patients. We are currently searching for a Clinical Content Lead to supervise the Clinical Content staff as well as provide expertise to drive content development.

The Clinical Content Lead will be held accountable for financial and operational targets through execution of product and content strategy. The Clinical Content Lead will also independently develop and update clinical content and supervise product specific development by clinical content developers. Using medical literature review, synthesis of clinical information and data analysis and in collaboration with external clinical specialty consultants, the Clinical Content Lead ensures the clinical content for the Level of Care suite of products represents best practice standards that meet requirements for different users, applications and contexts. They also have responsibility for quality assurance of the content, internal and external client questions and mentoring of both new and current employees.

Your Required Skills & Experience:
• You have six or more years of clinical practice experience with at least three in an advanced practice role (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) with professional licensure and certification in good standing
• You have experience in acute care (ICU, medical or surgical care outside ICU, cardiac care, or ER)
• Some business experience preferred with knowledge of utilization management or case management
• You possess Healthcare Informatics, Nursing Informatics, Utilization Review and Clinical Content experience
• You are a superb interpersonal and written communicator with ability to create and present data
• You have strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) and enjoy learning new software and technologies
• You have a curious persona and have voracious research skills and capabilities
• You are creative and think outside-the-box
• You have experience designing algorithms
• You have experience supervising, mentoring and training employees in clinical roles
